Job description

Join Keolis in Milton, ON as an experienced 310T Mechanic and play a vital role in maintaining our transit fleet! This full-time, permanent position offers competitive wages, a comprehensive benefits package, and an annual tool and boot allowance.

Knowledge and Experience:

 

  • 310T Truck and Coach Technician certificate
  • Experience in conventional or custom transit vehicle maintenance is ideal
  • Preference given to candidates with a valid inspector's license
  • Preference given to candidates with a commercial driver's license


Skills: 

 

  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong time management skills
  • Well-developed communication skills (both written and verbal)


Key Accountabilities: 

Fleet Maintenance & Vehicle Diagnostics and Repair

 

  • Perform standard maintenance repairs
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic tests on transit vehicles
  • Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues


Compliance and Safety 

 

  • Ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures
  • Adhere to Provincial and Municipal laws and regulations governing the location
  • Provide updates on maintenance progress and potential issues
  • Prioritize safety in all aspects of work


Parts Management and Inventory 

 

  • Procure necessary parts for repairs and maintenance
  • Manage and organize parts inventory
  • Track parts usage and reorder as needed


Schedule: Sunday to Thursday - 2 pm to 10:30 pm

Wage: 

 

  • $41 per hour
  • Vacation: 3 weeks
  • Benefits: 85/15 Split
  • Tool allowance
