The incumbent is also responsible to work directly with the Sherwin-Williams Regional Sales Managers and Sherwin-Williams Sales Representatives to ensure our programs and processes are implemented across the WD, Franchise Banner Group, Buying Groups and MAACO platforms.

Responsibilities

 

  • Primary contact, interfacing with WD Accounts, Franchise Banner Groups, Buying Groups and MAACO shops.
  • Division PBE Resource - Internal & External. Collaborate and act as the main contact with WD's Franchise Banner Groups, Buying Groups, and MAACO shops, supporting Sherwin-Williams field personnel.
  • Actively utilize SFDC on any and all account activity, including coaching and discussions regarding SFDC metric
  • Develop , support and promote division specific programs & promotions.
  • Drive Sherwin-Williams initiatives through WD, Franchise Banner Group, Buying Group and MAACO platforms
  • Assist field teams in engaging Key store accounts.
  • Process EPROMO mixing systems for field personnel
  • Knowledge of competitive activities and Sherwin-Williams' competitive advantages.
  • Ensure that Sherwin-Williams is meeting its negotiated commitments.
  • Profit and loss management.
  • Establish regular communication with the various levels of the assigned accounts.
  • Continually establish and build relationships with key leadership members at the highest levels within the assigned accounts.
  • Train local teams on proper procedures related to the ongoing service and support of the assigned accounts. 

    Reporting of key operational metrics from Sherwin-Williams to the assigned account and to internal Sherwin-Williams teams.
  • Ensure that the WD, Franchise Banner Group, Buying Group and MAACO shops receive the same level of support, oversight, and engagement from Sherwin-Williams.
  • Guide all stakeholders for the assigned accounts through account development, process development, supply chain management, and continuous improvement.
  • Execute a business plan and a strategic approach for assigned accounts along with SFDC documentation.
    Allow self to be readily accessible to customer for advice/assistance.
  • Communicate to customer current sales promotions, new product development, etc.
  • Identify potential problems and work with appropriate support network to resolve the issues promptly and correctly.
  • Support customer with technical, sales, and marketing assistance as needed.
  • Manage processes to improve material management delivering more value to the assigned account and Sherwin-Williams.
  • Manage the assigned account, documented within SFDC, through field visits, personal contact (with Sherwin-Williams and the assigned accounts' personnel), progress reports, the SWAF Code of Principles, and expense reports.


Qualifications

EDUCATION:
Required:
• High School or equivalent

Preferred:
• Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Required:
 

  • Incumbent is required to have and to exercise a deep understanding of industry issues and trends, of the various business segments as they specifically relate to opportunities and needs of the customer.
  • Communicating with customer's Senior Management on specific details relating to all relevant issues, as they expect the incumbent to know their industry, business model strategy and key individuals.
  • Provide innovative and creative guidance and conflict resolution.
  • Responsible for intervention and problem resolution for issues that are escalated beyond incumbent's authority.

    TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

    Required:
  • Must be able to physically demonstrate paint and associated products by utilizing various product delivery systems such as spray guns and other related equipment. 

    TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: (TIME SPENT AWAY FROM HOME OR OTHER TYPICAL OFFICE LOCATION) 75%
