Service Advisor

Since 1956, Desjardins Sport Inc. has specialized in the sale, maintenance, and repair of motorized products, small engines, lawn and garden equipment, and nautical equipment. We are a service center recognized for our mechanical expertise, efficiency, and exceptional after-sales service.

We are looking for a Service advisor to support the growth of our service department.

Job summary:

The Service Advisor is responsible for greeting customers, opening work orders, preparing estimates, tracking repairs, and communicating between customers and the mechanical workshop. This role is essential to ensuring fast, efficient, and professional customer service.

Main responsibilities:

    • Greet customers at the mechanic service counter;
    • Respond to requests related to repairs, maintenance, diagnostics, and warranties;
    • Prepare and explain repair estimates, recommended maintenance, and service options;
    • Open, manage, and close work orders (after-sales service);
    • Coordinate work with mechanical technicians and mechanics specializing in small engines and marine products;
    • Track parts orders, supplier claims, and product warranties;
    • Ensure rigorous customer follow-up: work authorization, deadlines, satisfaction.

Required skills:

    • Experience in mechanics (small engines, motorized equipment, marine products)
    • Previous experience as a technical advisor or service advisor (major asset)
    • Knowledge of LARS software
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
    • Bilingual (French/English)
    • Organization, autonomy, priority management, and customer focus.

Schedule:

    • Monday to Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.;
    • Alternating Saturdays: 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
