Fredette Pneus et Mécanique is currently looking for a Foreman for the service department.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and coordinate all tire-related work: mounting, dismounting, balancing, repairing, and inspecting tires.
- Assign tasks to technicians and tire fitters according to priorities and skills.
- Ensure that deadlines, quality standards, and health and safety standards are met.
- Supervise, train, and motivate team members to optimize their performance;
- Evaluate employee performance and participate in their development;
- Manage unforeseen events and ensure the smooth running of daily operations;
- Ensure strict enforcement of workplace safety policies and procedures.
Required skills and profile:
- Excellent knowledge of different types of tires and their technical specifications;
- Proficiency in tire mounting, dismounting, balancing, and repair techniques;
- Experience in team management or coordination of a mechanical or service workshop;
- Ability to effectively manage priorities in a dynamic environment;
- Organizational skills, thoroughness, and attention to detail;
- Strong communication skills and motivational leadership;
- Ability to diagnose tire-related issues and propose effective solutions;
- Valid driver's licence.
