The Summer Student, Mobile Fleet will support ENMAX Power's Fleet team by contributing to a high-impact project focused on optimizing our mobile fleet replacement and decommissioning strategy. You'll work with real fleet data, apply emerging technologies like AI, and gain hands-on experience with systems such as PowerBI, Maximo, Utilimarc, and Geotab. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate across departments, present your findings to leadership, and build practical skills in analytics, sustainability, and operational planning. This position is part of the 2026 ENMAX Summer Student Program. This 16-week program demonstrates ENMAX's commitment to invest in our future workforce and supports youth in building beneficial career skills. To be eligible applicants must be enrolled in a full-time degree or diploma program at an accredited post-secondary institution and must be returning full-time in the fall.
Major Responsibilities:
- Analytics & Data Modeling - Support lifecycle cost and residual value analysis; apply AI/predictive tools to fleet data; gain hands-on experience with PowerBI, Maximo, Utilimarc, and Geotab
- Process Documentation & Standardization - Refine end-to-end process templates; capture lessons learned and build spec repositories; learn project management and governance frameworks
- Risk & Cost Optimization - Contribute to risk rating framework; support cost coding and betterment tracking; review upfitting quotes for savings
- Innovation & Emerging Technologies - Analyze electrification performance data; test AI models for predictive replacement; explore sustainability and technology impacts
- Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work with Field Services, Finance, Regulatory, and Fixed Assets; support spec approvals and governance processes; build communication and presentation skills with executive deliverables
Education Required:
Must be currently enrolled in a degree or diploma program in one of the following areas and returning to full-time studies after the work term: Economics, Business, Computer Science / Data Analytics, Supply Chain / Logistics, or Finance / Accounting.

Salary: Administrator Level B Step 1 - $24.82 / hour based on current CUPE Collective Agreement rates
Location: This role will be part of our hybrid (home and office) workforce with office workspace located at our South Service Center location (8820 - 52 St. S.E. Calgary, AB). You will have the option to work from home on Mondays and Fridays and will work in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
