Job description
The Service Advisor position is part of a three-person reception team in a mechanical workshop.
Tasks:
- Making appointments and greeting customers;
- Writing work orders;
- Managing the workshop schedule;
- Liaising between customers and technicians;
- Preparing quotes and explaining and selling them to customers;
- Ordering and returning parts;
- Preparing final invoices;
- Collecting payments and explaining invoices to customers;
- Managing the cash register and handing it over to the person in charge at the end of the day;
- Keeping your workstation and assigned work areas tidy;
- Following up on emails and after-sales service;
- Handling complaints and informing the person in charge;
- Completing parts warranty forms and following up on them.
Requirements:
- Experience in customer service;
- Knowledge of automotive mechanics;
- Computer skills;
- Sales skills;
- Proactive attitude;
- Knowledge of Gem-Car software.
