We are looking for an experienced mechanic or apprentice. Join a team that sells over 350 new vehicles and more than 250 used vehicles per year!

Responsibilities:

At Lachute Subaru, Technicians play an essential role in our small team, where collaboration is paramount. Despite each person's specialization, we believe in teamwork where all tasks are shared and performed collectively to ensure efficient, quality service while maintaining motivation.

Maintenance and inspection:

    • Perform periodic maintenance (oil changes, brakes, suspension, tire installation, etc.).
    • Perform inspections related to warranties and manufacturer recalls.
    • Inspect used vehicles.

Advanced diagnostics and repairs—depending on your skills:

    • Diagnose complex problems using computer and electronic tools.
    • Repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles.
    • Perform major repairs such as transmission, engine, differential, etc.

Technical support and communication:

    • Open tickets with the manufacturer's technical support line to report and resolve issues.
    • Write QMRs (Quality Mechanical Reports) to document anomalies and help improve vehicles.
    • Communicate with the parts department and advisory service to ensure efficient repairs.
    • Read service bulletins on a daily basis.

Compliance with standards and safety:

    • Apply manufacturer standards and repair procedures.
    • Comply with safety guidelines and environmental regulations.
    • Accurately document the work performed in vehicle records.

Compliance with standards and safety is essential in the performance of tasks. This involves rigorously applying manufacturer standards and established repair procedures, complying with safety guidelines and environmental regulations in force, and accurately documenting all work performed in vehicle records.

Work schedule: Monday to Thursday, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Fridays, from 8 a.m. to noon.
