Parts Clerk - CLASS A - CARREAU

Canadian Tire Laval Le Corbusier is looking for a Class A Parts Clerk- Level A to join its auto centre team.

In this role, you will serve, advise, and respond to customer needs regarding automotive parts and accessories, both by phone and at the counter. You will be responsible for finding and providing the correct parts for automotive repairs. This position involves using computerized parts and service retrieval systems, including preparing quotes, repair orders, and orders, as well as monitoring and maintaining accurate inventory. The Parts Clerk works in a fast-paced environment and supports automotive mechanics and service advisors. Tasks and Responsibilities:

- Respond to and promptly address inquiries and concerns from internal and external customers;
- Ensure the auto center team optimizes the customer experience by quickly sourcing, storing, and providing the correct vehicle parts requested by customers or automotive mechanics;
- Provide service to automotive mechanics and process their requests for parts and tires;
- Estimate the price and availability of parts and tires;
- Maintain and monitor inventory accuracy, including specialized workshop tools;
- Check batteries, starters, and alternators. Operate the battery charging station;
- Liaise with the auto center counter staff to verify the accuracy of estimates and ensure a professional presentation;
- Stock shelves in the storage areas;
- Process returns and warranty claims

This is a full-time, day shift position.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 4 years of experience;- Basic knowledge of automotive mechanics;

- Knowledge and experience in a computerized work environment (experience with Costar software is an asset).
