Job description

As a Warranty Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting our premier customers by providing a key administrative role for vehicle settlement agreements in partnership with local dealerships. The purpose of this role is to help ensure a flawless and compliant implementation of this regulation.

The Administrator will be responsible for the preparation of settlements, the dispute management and the completion of transactions. The main tasks are listed below, but the incumbent can be assigned to other functions:

- Processing all safeguard entries to ensure adequate documentation;
- Collaborating with body shops and Mechanics on any warranty claims, if necessary;
- Reconciling all receivables for guarantees and payments according to the appropriate schedule;
- Processing warranty claims for each franchise or builder with the required criteria;
- Dealing with any disputes that may arise with an eligible client or with a customer's vehicle;
- Carrying out the appropriate transactions in the Claims Portal, correctly following all the required steps and in the correct order;
- Preparing and assisting the dealership in fulfilling the requirements of this regulation by training and supporting the dedicated dealership’s staff accordingly;
- Advising the Claims Administrator of Canada with questions and concerns during a claim;
- Filing and keeping all after-sale files according to the Manager’s requirements;
- Fulfilling any clerical task according to the directives of your immediate superior.

Qualifications:

- Ability in customer relation and/or customer service;
- Knowledge of Serti, CDK and/or Reynold’s and PBS software;
- Experience within a dealership;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- High level of professionalism and business acumen;
- Great attention to detail, responsibility and autonomy in carrying out your tasks;
- Good knowledge of rules, policies, laws and standards.
