Responsibilities
- Inspecting, diagnosing and repairing tractor-trailers; braking systems, transmissions, wheels, axles, etc.
- Utilizing diagnostics equipment to isolate operating problems and repair faults
- Performing regular fleet maintenance on company trucks
- Keeping the shop clean
Criteria
- Valid 310T License / or Registered Apprentice
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines and experience with troubleshooting and preventative maintenance
- Strong problem solving skills
- Professional service attitude
- Must own tools
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Safety conscious, ability to work in a safety driven environment
- Valid Driver's license and clean driving record
- Physically capable
