About the role:
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated account manager who is capable of developing a portfolio of new clients and maximizing the commercial potential of the territory. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to business development, with solid experience in prospecting in the automotive industry or related services.
The account manager reports to senior management and will be part of a collaborative and innovative team.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a prospecting strategy aimed at opening new accounts with automotive dealers.
- Present and sell additional warranty products to automotive dealers in the territory.
- Maintain close relationships with existing customers to maximize their potential and ensure their satisfaction.
- Train customer staff on how to use the system and provide ongoing support.
- Manage customer performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Meet or exceed assigned sales and business development objectives.
- Participate in events to increase Track Garantie's visibility.
Qualities needed to thrive in this role:
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to develop new accounts (prospecting).
- Independence and professionalism.
What we are looking for:
- Degree in sales, administration, marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar position in a B2B environment.
- Experience in the dealer products industry (an asset).
- Strong entrepreneurial spirit, results-oriented.
- Bilingualism (French and English) required.
- Must reside in the territory.
