Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in database management, relationship marketing, or CRM in the automotive sector;
- Advanced proficiency in CRM systems specific to the automotive industry (SDS/Merlin, ACTIVIX, AutoAlert, etc.) and Excel;
- Ability to interpret data and identify trends;
- Ability to set your own goals and manage your time;
- Ability to coach sales teams and enforce processes without direct hierarchical authority;
- Ability to manage priorities, particularly for event logistics;
- Motivation to start from scratch and create new systems, openness to change, and strong ability to work in a changing environment;
- Ability to travel regularly to Lauzon Group dealerships located in Laval, Blainville, St-Hubert, and Boisbriand.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, the incumbent must maximize the value of the existing database and support sales managers with targeted follow-up strategies and exclusive events. The person will be responsible for optimizing the use of the new and used vehicle customer database of our six dealerships, finding strategies and implementing them.
More specifically, the person will be required to:
- Analyze the database daily to identify sales opportunities based on the different customer profiles found therein;
- Create targeted call lists for the sales teams based on vehicle models;
- Configure the CRM to work for us (automated workflows, automatic reminder tasks, email sequences, etc.);
- Monitor the sales teams' use of the CRM and ensure that every interaction is logged and that the system is used to its full capacity, while ensuring compliance with legal rules on communication and use of personal information;
- Act as a guardian of processes. Detect when follow-ups are not being done and alert managers with facts and figures;
- Organize and manage private sales events from start to finish (4 to 6 times a year);
- Coordinate invitations (direct marketing, emails, calls), dealership set-up, and ensure a VIP customer experience during the event. Following the events, analyze results and KPIs;
- Provide sales managers with weekly reports on the untapped potential of their customer portfolio. Generate monthly reports on sales team performance.
- Help the Business Development department and sales teams maintain good communication and collaboration through optimal use of CRM.
- Perform all other related tasks.
Note:
The incumbent will be required to travel to all Lauzon Group dealerships (North Shore, Laval, St-Hubert) on a regular basis. They will also have an office in the marketing department, located at Volkswagen Lauzon Boisbriand.
