Job description
We are looking for a Counter Service Agent – diagnostics and warranty to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will help customers seeking support with product repairs, returns, and warranty inquiries, while ensuring a positive customer experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of the automotive industry and know how to use diagnostic tools.
Responsibilities:
• Responds to customers at our counter regarding their orders, warranties and repairs.
• Ship products that are under warranty to the service centers or suppliers.
• Follow up with service centers or suppliers on product repairs.
• Document issues and solutions in a knowledge base for future reference.
• Provide technical support for automotive diagnostic software by phone and email.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues using diagnostic tools.
• Support diagnostic repair & warranty department.
Skills/Knowledge Required
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to clients.
• Customer service–oriented, with patience and professionalism.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of automotive diagnostic tools (an asset)
• Bilingual French and English required.
Education and Experience
• Mechanical background (an asset)
• 2+ years in customer service, preferably within an automotive service or warehouse/distribution environment.
• Automotive diagnostics knowledge is highly preferred, as you will support our Tech Support Department (training will be provided)
