POSITION OVERVIEW
As a student, you will support the BDC Capital teams with a variety of tasks, including:
- Investment Support:
Assist in preparing and writing investment memos, synthesizing key insights from due diligence and financial analysis. Research and analyze emerging markets, sectors, and business models aligned with the different focus areas.
- Portfolio Monitoring:
Track portfolio company activity and relevant trends across social media and digital platforms to inform internal updates and storytelling.
- Event Support:
Assist in the planning and organization of events, workshops, and ecosystem gatherings, including logistics, materials, and follow-up.
- General Team Support:
Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and ongoing projects that contribute to strategic priorities.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage priorities.
- Excellent written and oral communication.
- Collaborative spirit and strong interpersonal skills.
- Autonomy, initiative and attention to details.
- Basic knowledge of financial products and concepts (interest rates, mortgages, loans, financial statements).
- Completed at least one year of post-secondary studies in a relevant field and be enrolled full-time in a program for the fall 2026 semester.
- Bilingualism in English and French is an asset but not mandatory.
