Sales Manager - New Vehicles

Groupe Motion is looking for a New Vehicles Sales Manager to join one of its dealerships in Longueuil. We are looking for a motivational leader who is results-oriented and has solid experience in automotive sales management and developing high-performing teams.

Reporting to senior management, the incumbent will be responsible for the overall performance of the new vehicle sales department, the achievement of volume and profitability targets, and the customer experience.

Main responsibilities:

    • Manage, supervise, and motivate the new vehicle sales team;
    • Set and achieve sales, margin, and performance indicator targets;
    • Ensure compliance with sales processes, manufacturer standards, and group policies;
    • Analyze results, produce reports, and implement continuous improvement strategies;
    • Work closely with the financing, marketing, after-sales service, and senior management departments;
    • Oversee the management of the new vehicle inventory (orders, rotations, aging).
    • Actively participate in recruitment, training, and talent development.
    • Ensure an exceptional customer experience, from initial contact to vehicle delivery.
    • Manage complex situations and customer escalations with professionalism.

Required profile:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive sales, including at least 2 to 3 years in a management role;
    • Experience as a sales manager or assistant manager is a major asset;
    • Strong leadership, ability to motivate and perform in a results-oriented environment;
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and team management skills;
    • Proficiency in computer tools and automotive CRM (CDK, Serti, Dealertrack, or equivalent);
    • Bilingualism in French and English required.
