Job description

The Mega Kia Brossard dealership is looking for a used car sales manager for its used car department of 5 salespeople and an assistant manager/buyer.

Brief job description:

You will be responsible for maintaining the customer base and profitability of this profit center. You will also be responsible for evaluating, purchasing, reconditioning, displaying and marketing the used car inventory. You will supply the used car sales department with saleable used cars.

Primary duties are listed below, but may include other duties:

- Forecast, on a monthly and annual basis, sales, gross sales and key expense targets for the used car sales department;
- Prepare and manage the used car sales department's annual operating budget;
- Ensure proper follow-up of all potential buyers by creating, implementing and monitoring a customer research and sales control system;
- Create and monitor a database to track potential used car buyers;
- Provide supervisor with accurate floor activity control data in ACTIVIX CRM on a daily basis;
- Lead the used car department's marketing and advertising activities, in collaboration with his/her superior. Collaborate in the design of advertising campaigns and various promotions;
- Ensure that all vehicles are presented to customers on the company website, and more specifically, in the case of used vehicles, that photos are up to date and that all specifications are available;
- Oversee the dissemination of used vehicle information on the various specialized sales websites, as well as on social media;
- Ensure that all customers are referred to the Sales Manager;
- Establish and maintain standards for the delivery of cars to customers;
- Ensure that the first after-sales service appointment is scheduled at the time of delivery;
- Process information related to sales consultants' commissions.

Selection criteria:

- Minimum 5 years' experience as a used vehicle sales manager;
- Experience in managing a volume of over 700 used vehicles;
- Ability to manage several files at the same time;
- Bilingual (French and English);
- Excellent leadership/assembly skills;
- Enthusiastic and motivated;
- Good communicator;
- Responsible and autonomous;
- Knowledge of CDK 180;
- Available to work Saturdays 1 of 2.
