Automotive Technician / Mechanic

Responsibilities:

- Depending on the candidate's experience and specialties, the mechanic will perform various maintenance and repair work on vehicles;
- Observe the operation of engines in operation, test the vehicles on the road;
- Identify the causes of defects or malfunctions and verify diagnoses;
- Repair or replace defective components or parts using hand or power tools;
- Test and adjust components to specifications to ensure proper operation;
- Complete reports to record defects and work performed.

Requirements:

- Professional experience in automotive mechanics;
- Competency card from the parity committee (CPA);
- Valid Quebec driver's licence;
- Concern for work well done and good sense of observation.
