Dilawri Group of Companies is currently recruiting for a Director of Operations: Mercedes-Benz to join our growing team. This position will be based in Vancouver and will oversee the Company's Five Mercedes Benz Automotive Dealerships and Bodyshop in the Vancouver Lower Mainland. 

Reporting to the VP of Operations, this position is responsible for performing a variety of activities in support of Dealership Operations, including management of store managers, working with OEM manufacturers, and overall leadership in the Region. 

RESPONSIBILITIES
 

  • Oversee and mentor all Sales, Service, Parts, and Body Shop Manager
  • New and Used Vehicle Inventory Management
  • Ensure monthly sales and financial objectives are met
  • Review financial expenses and profits with Director of Finance; analyze trends for each store and discuss with VP of Operations.
  • Prepare monthly summary reports describing actions that must be taken or next month for all stores.
  • Present the monthly and year-to-date financial results
  • Recruit, train, supervise and assist, where necessary, stores' management teams
  • Participate in all aspects of the National Best Practice Initiatives and implement as required


QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED 
 

  • Minimum Five Years experience in a General Manager capacity


SKILLS 
 

  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Multi Store Dealership Operations
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills - must be an effective communicator both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrated high degree of common sense and intellect with a well-developed business acumen
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks for self and others and follow them through to completion
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate others
  • Demonstrated ability to co-ordinate activities of various departments
  • Proven and demonstrated history of successful departmental and personnel management
  • Organizational ability and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team environment to achieve common goals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
