Assistant Manager / Desk Manager (new position)

Mazda Val-David is experiencing exceptional growth in new and pre-owned vehicle sales. To support this expansion and effectively assist our sales manager, we are creating a new key position within our team.

We are looking for a dynamic, motivated, and performance-oriented Assistant Manager / Desk Manager to help optimize our sales processes and achieve our ambitious goals.

Main responsibilities:

    • Welcome customers to the dealership and ensure an exemplary customer experience.
    • Supervise, coach, and support sales representatives in all their transactions.
    • Perform TOs and provide strategic support during negotiations.
    • Set up and structure transactions for sales representatives.
    • Evaluate trade-in vehicles with rigor and accuracy.
    • Ensure the effective management of the showroom and customer flow.
    • Ensure that all customers are properly registered in the various systems (walk-in, telephone, CRM).
    • Coordinate and manage vehicle exchanges between dealerships (Locate).
    • Work closely with sales management to optimize monthly results.

Required skills and qualifications

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Desk Manager or in a similar position at a car dealership.
    • Motivational leadership, team spirit, and ability to inspire sales representatives.
    • Positive, dynamic, and results-oriented attitude.
    • Strong motivation, autonomy, and ability to work in a high-volume environment.
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
    • Computer proficiency, particularly with CRM and sales management tools.
    • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
