COMPANY DESCRIPTION:
Valleyfield Honda is a fast-growing dealership known for its customer service and healthy performance culture. We are expanding rapidly and are looking to fill a vacancy in the position of Service Advisor.
This is a key position: you will be the dealership's sole Service Advisor, at the heart of the customer experience and service operations.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a Service Advisor, you are the link between the customer and the workshop. You welcome customers, identify their needs, explain the work to be done, and ensure that they leave satisfied, with complete transparency.
Main responsibilities:
- Welcome service customers with professionalism and courtesy;
- Open work orders and fully understand customer needs and concerns;
- Clearly explain repairs, recommended maintenance, and available options;
- Coordinate work between technicians, parts, and customers;
- Follow up by phone (approval of work, updates, vehicle deliveries);
- Present invoices, review work performed, and answer customer questions;
- Contribute to the achievement of departmental objectives (labor, parts, complementary products);
- Ensure an exceptional customer experience from start to finish;
- Participate in process improvement and the growth of the service department.
DESIRED PROFILE:
- Experience as a technical advisor or in a similar role at a car dealership (MANDATORY, preferably);
- Strong customer service and communication skills;
- Performance-oriented: you enjoy achieving and exceeding your goals;
- Ability to manage multiple files at once, with rigor and organization;
- Positive attitude, sense of priorities, and autonomy;
- Knowledge of the automotive field (mechanics, maintenance, vocabulary): a big asset;
- Bilingualism in French/English: an asset.
