We are currently looking for a full-time Heavy Equipment Technician (Service Truck) to join our Service team.
As the Heavy Equipment Technician (Service Truck), you are responsible for:
- Driving Rentco's service truck to customer locations for diagnosing and repairs
- Troubleshooting and completing diagnostic repairs
- Completing the installation of new and added on equipment
- Cleaning, lubricating, and other maintenance work
- Ordering replacement equipment, parts, and supplies
- Maintaining a working knowledge of changes in technology and repair techniques
You have the following skills and education:
- Heavy Equipment Technician- registered 3rd year apprentice to Red Seal Journeyperson
- Previous service truck experience
- Class 5 drivers' licence with a clean abstract and the ability to travel to off-site locations
- First aid, H2S, Hours of Service tickets would be an asset
- Ability to be flexible and to work well under pressure
- Ability to lift objects over 50 lbs.
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions while wearing proper PPE
