Davis GMC Buick in Lethbridge is seeking our next great team member to join our Service Department as a part-time Express Service Advisor! This part-time opportunity offers 30 hours per week, plus the perk of company benefits. The specific schedule is as follows:
 

  • Tuesday to Friday; 12:30pm to 6:00pm
  • Each Saturday; 8:00am to 5:00pm


The Express Service Advisor is the service department's first-line customer representative. They are responsible for scheduling quick vehicle maintenance work such as oil and filter changes and tire changes, while providing accurate work orders to the Service and Lube Technicians. This position offers a great stepping stone into the automotive industry with opportunity for career advancement!

What You'll Do:
 

  • Greet customers in a prompt, courteous manner as they bring their vehicle in for an express service
  • Actively listen to customer needs in order to gather the nature of the visit, and to recommend any additional services
  • Maintain customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected completion times
  • Utilize our database management system to track and follow up with customers for future recommended repairs or maintenance
  • Utilize the point-of-sale system to take payments from customers upon pick-up
  • Provide additional support in the Service Lane as needed


What You Bring:
 

  • Experienced background in customer service
  • Strong written communication skills to accurately detail customer concerns in each work order
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills to develop relationships and ensure customer loyalty
  • Active listener with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Strong work ethic with a positive team attitude
  • High school diploma and valid driver's license is mandatory
