What You'll Do
 

  • Assist journeyman technicians in all aspects of auto body repairs - dent removal, sanding, masking, and panel preparation
  • Prep vehicles for painting, including cleaning, sanding, masking, and applying primers and sealers
  • Disassemble and reassemble vehicle components as needed for repair and refinishing
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
  • Learn to use, maintain, and troubleshoot body shop tools and equipment
  • Collaborate closely with painters and technicians to ensure quality results and efficient workflow
  • Follow all safety protocols and manufacturer repair standards


What You Bring
 

  • Enrolled or completed 1st or 2nd-year Auto Body Apprenticeship (or equivalent experience in a prep/refinishing role)
  • A genuine passion for automotive repair and a desire to build a long-term career in the trade
  • Keen attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality workmanship
  • Ability to take direction, work in a team, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical ability to lift, stand, and move throughout the day
  • Valid driver's license
