Tantramar Chevrolet is seeking a Parts Inventory/Seasonal Tire Coordinator to join our team!
Please note that this position is offered on a contract basis, with an anticipated end date of December 31 2025, renewal may be considered based on operational needs.
As a Parts Inventory/ Seasonal Tire Coordinator at Tantramar Chevrolet, you'll be at the heart of our service operations-keeping things organized, efficient, and running seamlessly. In this dual role, you'll support both our parts and tire departments by sourcing and ordering parts, maintaining accurate inventory, coordinating with technicians, suppliers, and ensuring a smooth seasonal tire changeover process. Your attention to detail and commitment to great customer service will help keep our team-and our customers-on the road with confidence!
This role requires full time hours with a hourly wage of $18.00
What You'll Do:
- Manage and organize seasonal tire inventory to ensure seamless retrieval and installation.
- Oversee and coordinate tire service schedules, optimizing daily appointment bookings for maximum efficiency.
- Act as a primary point of contact for customers, guiding them through their tire changeover process and addressing any concerns or inquiries.
- Collaborate closely with technicians to ensure tire installations are completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain meticulous records of customer tire storage and service history, leveraging data for proactive customer engagement.
- Monitor tire conditions and provide recommendations to customers on necessary replacements or upgrades, enhancing both safety and satisfaction.
- Ensure all tire handling and storage procedures meet health and safety standards.
- Ordering parts for clients needing vehicle repairs in an efficient and timely manner
- Receiving parts orders with accuracy
- Communicating with the technicians and service department to ensure the job gets done
- Maintain parts inventory count
What You Bring:
- Must be able to lift and handle tires (up to 50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage large inventories and schedules efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first approach to ensure a positive service experience.
- Flexibility to work extended hours during peak seasonal periods, including weekends if necessary.
- A valid driver's license may be required depending on the location and role responsibilities.
- Previous experience in the automotive industry is considered an asset
