Cummins is looking for a Customer Representative to complete our Customer Center team in Canada.

This position provides routine support to customers, including end-users, distributors, and/or dealers, seeking information through various mediums, under limited supervision

In this role, you will have the following impacts:
 

  • Document customer request information in the appropriate Cummins systems.
  • Provide prompt assistance to customers using various means of communication.
  • Multi-skill/multi-channel support (chat/email/phone).
  • Solve common customer problems with a basic understanding of Cummins processes, systems, and practices.
  • Escalates unusual issues by providing documentation throughout the process.
  • Understand new and existing Cummins processes, systems and practices.
  • Make suggestions on how existing processes can be more efficient or customer-oriented.


Responsibilities

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Diplomas-certifications:• High School Diploma 

Experience:
 

  • Requires relevant work experience; Prior technical and/or customer service experience is required.
  • Bilingual French/English (written and spoken) is required for this position
  • Having previous experience in this industry and customer service is a must
  • Some knowledge of the different industries we work with (marine, automotive, industrial, power generation, etc.) as a whole is an asset.


You should be able to :

• Establish a professional relationship with your customers to increase loyalty to Cummins products.

• Understand contact center policies and procedures.

• Be comfortable with a variety of software.

• Previous experience in this industry and customer service is a must.

• Some knowledge of the different industries we work with (maritime, automotive, industrial, power generation, etc.) is an overall asset.

About the position: 
• This is a 100% remote position (must reside in Canada)

• Work schedule from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Friday (Eastern Time) 

• Salary starting at $55,000 per year
