Job description
Olivier Hyundai St-Basile is currently seeking an experienced General Manager to join its team.
Our dealership sets itself apart by achieving ambitious volume targets with over 1,400 pre-owned vehicles and 750 new vehicles annually, positioning itself among the most successful in the region!
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for the entire dealership;
- Establish a culture of excellence focused on customer satisfaction and develop team skills through ongoing coaching;
- Demonstrate direct involvement in all sales opportunities and maintain an active presence on the floor;
- Develop and deploy effective strategies to meet and exceed profitability targets;
- Build, develop and mobilize a high-performance management team aligned with business objectives;
- Ensure rigorous application of manufacturing and corporate norms, policies and standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a General Manager in the automotive sector;
- Experience in sales and in the fixed-price department;
- Excellent knowledge of the used vehicle department (procurement, appraisal and marketing);
- Proficiency in the sector's computer systems: Merlin, Serti and Activix. (an asset);
- Demonstrated leadership skills and team management experience;
- Solid understanding of financial and retail principles;
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills;
- Have a strong orientation towards results, profitability and customer satisfaction.
