What will your days be like as a Mechanic?
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will be involved in various maintenance and repair activities on our different vehicles. You will be responsible for :
- Good skills in advanced electrical and mechanical diagnostics;
- Engine and transmission replacement/repair;
- Replacement of suspension and steering parts;
- Perform tire installations, including tire rotation and balancing;
- Carry out maintenance and repairs on cars and vans;
- Assist apprentice technicians as needed;
- Ability to analyze electrical circuits;
- Knowledge of electric vehicles an asset;
- Use of Mitchell Prodemand, an asset;
- Sharp sense of resourcefulness;
- Knowledge of ADAS systems (camera, blind spot sensor, radar);
- Knowledge of air conditioning (diagnosis and repair);
- Knowledge of OBD2 communication line diagnostics (Can bus).
Job requirements:
- Technical knowledge of most cars and vans;
- DVS in mechanics or equivalent;
- CPA card required;
- Valid driver's license (class 5) and good driving record;
- Knowledge of French (written and spoken);
- Knowledge of English (written and spoken) an asset;
- Possessed halocarbon gas card (air conditioning).
