Tire and Lube Technician (Seasonal, Fixed Term)

As they gear up for their busy seasonal period, our client in Guelph is looking for a dependable Tire and Lube Technician to help things running smoothy! This is a seasonal, fixed term role. 

As a Tire and Lube Technician, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing basic automotive maintenance services in a fast-paced, customer focused environment. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build hands-on experience in the automotive field or for a skilled tech looking for short-term seasonal work. 

Responsibilities: 
• Install, change, rotate, and balance tires
• Check tire pressure and filling as per manufacturer specifications 
• Perform oil changes and basic fluid checks 
• Perform fluid/filter replacement and other vehicle maintenance items
• Lubricating moving parts as necessary 
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace 
• Follow safety procedures and shop protocols 
• Provide excellent service to customers and support the team as needed 
• Consulting lead mechanics to address vehicle issues 
• Other duties as assigned 

Requirements
• Previous tire/lube experience an asset
• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge 
• Proficiency with hand tools 
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude 
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs 
• Reliable and punctual 
• Valid drivers' license preferred
