Job description

The Kenan Advantage Group Inc., (KAG), is North America's largest tank truck transporter and logistics provider, delivering energy commodities, specialty products, merchant gases, and food products across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. 

Reporting to the Shop Manager, the Tire Technician works with our team in the shop to ensure the safe and efficient use, care, and maintenance of the tires on our tractor and trailer fleet. 

About the position:
 

  • Managing tire program out of Saskatoon branch including shipping and receiving of all branch tires
  • Removing and installing tires
  • Rotating tires to increase tread wear
  • Retorquing wheel nuts from all Branch units as needed from previous repairs
  • Yard checks
  • Track test tires
  • Repairing and issuing tire chains
  • Performing hose tests on fuel, LPG, NH3
  • Performing air checks & Torques
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work area


What you bring:
 

  • 1-2 years of commercial or fleet tire experience is preferred
  • Safety conscious approach to all job duties
