Mechanic / Journeyman

WE ARE RECRUITING a Mechanic Technician (Journeyman) for Volkswagen vehicles and other makes.

Job description:

As a Journeyman Mechanic, you will play an essential role in our workshop. You'll be responsible for performing diagnostics, general maintenance, as well as technical repairs on vehicles, while adhering to Volkswagen manufacturer standards.

Responsibilities:

- Perform diagnostics, maintenance and mechanical repairs according to established procedures.
- Use Volkswagen's own electronic diagnostic tools and systems.
- Collaborate with the technical team to ensure prompt, quality service.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment.
- Participate in regularly offered technical training.

Job requirements:

- DVS, AEC or certificate in automotive mechanics required.
- Specialization in electronics, fuel injection and air conditioning (an asset).
- Specialization in troubleshooting electrical problems (an asset).
- Knowledge of diesel mechanics and ability to repair these vehicles (an asset).
- Vehicle alignment skills (an asset).
- Valid driver's license.
- Good team spirit, autonomy, thoroughness and attention to detail.
