Automotive Technician

DETAILED JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Discuss work with supervisor
- Inspect motor in operation
- Review work orders
- Road test motor vehicles
- Test automotive systems and components
- Perform scheduled maintenance service
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
- Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- A valid driver’s licence for British Columbia
- Must be available to work on Saturday & Sunday
- Ability to handle physical demands including standing/walking for 8 hours while frequently lifting and carrying items, twisting, turning and reaching.
- Fast-paced environment
- Hand-eye co-ordination
- Completion of secondary school
- 3 - 4 years of experience

Rate: $36.60/hour

Hours: 40 hours/week

Experience:

- Automotive technician: 3-4 years (preferred)

License/Certification:
