The Role

We are seeking a 310S Licensed Mechanic to join our Mississauga team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality, safe, and reliable work.

You'll be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of equipment, including:
 

• Landscaping and snow removal equipment
• Tractors and heavy machinery
• Work trucks and CVOR-rated vehicles

This role plays a key part in ensuring our fleet and equipment are operating at peak performance so our teams can deliver excellent service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
 

• Perform preventative maintenance and major repairs on cars, trucks, tractors, and landscape equipment
• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems, including: engine, steering, braking, suspension, electrical, HVAC, and drivetrain
• Use Protractor software to log work orders and preventative maintenance records
• Advise management on major repairs, parts requirements, and fleet needs
• Order and track replacement parts, equipment, and supplies (as approved)
• Ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards
• Mentor and support apprentices in the shop as required
• Demonstrate professional, reliable, and safe work practices at all times

Requirements

• Valid 310S Mechanic License
• Valid Class G Driver's License with a clean record
• Own trade tools and steel-toe safety boots
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Computer literate (maintenance software experience an asset)
• Flexibility for 24/7 availability during peak seasons

Experience
 

• 5+ years of experience as a Licensed Mechanic (preferably with mixed fleets and small engines)
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

Hours of Work
 

• Monday to Friday, 6:00 am - 5:00 pm
