A day in the life...

As Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the overall success of the dealership's sales department. Your day will focus on ensuring customer satisfaction, retention, and profitability while leading your team to consistently exceed performance targets.
 

  • Develop and execute sales strategies that achieve both new and pre-owned vehicle objectives.
  • Monitor key sales and profitability metrics, preparing accurate forecasts and reports for senior management.
  • Stay current on competitor products, manufacturer programs, and automotive market trends across Canada.
  • Recruit, coach, and motivate your sales team, conducting regular performance reviews and fostering professional growth.
  • Resolve issues efficiently and effectively, ensuring escalated customer concerns are addressed promptly.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and ethical sales practices to maintain high standards of integrity.


What we look for...
 

  • Previous management experience in an automotive dealership is required.
  • Proven track record of success in automotive sales management, with the ability to drive team performance and achieve sales targets.
  • Proficient in vehicle sales software such Dealermine.
  • Strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and attention to detail in deal structuring.
  • Ability to identify growth opportunities, resolve challenges effectively, and implement strategies that drive results.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards, confidentiality requirements, and data protection best practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced dealership environment.
  • Clear, persuasive, and professional written and verbal communication, with strong presentation skills.
  • Valid BC driver's license with a clean driver's abstract.
  • VSA license is required.
  • A positive can-do attitude!
