The Dilawri Group of Companies, Canada's largest automotive group, is looking for a motivated and results-oriented Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to support our operations in the east GTA. This role will require the ability to commute to various location in the GTA while based out of our Regional Office in Mississauga.
Reporting directly to the Regional General Manager, this role is responsible for securing and purchasing quality pre-owned vehicles from approved sources to maintain a strong pre-owned vehicle inventory. In addition, the Vehicle Acquisition Specialist will assist in selling and leasing both new and pre-owned vehicles while ensuring customer satisfaction and achieving dealership sales standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Vehicle Acquisition
- Actively source pre-owned vehicles through multiple channels, including dealership service drive-through, online auctions (TradeRev, Open Lane), third-party outlets (LeaseBusters), and online classifieds (Kijiji).
- Assess vehicle condition and value for resale and inventory management.
- Secure and purchase vehicles with approval from the Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales Manager.
Vehicle Sales & Leasing
- Assist customers in selecting vehicles based on their needs and preferences.
- Present vehicle features, advantages, and options while arranging test drives.
- Negotiate pricing and finalize transactions with approval of the General Sales Manager.
- Collaborate with the Finance & Insurance Manager to complete purchase processes.
Delivery & Customer Experience
- Oversee the delivery process, including vehicle preparation and feature presentation.
- Follow up with customers post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and resolve concerns.
- Support customers with accessories, documentation, or other promised items.
Prospecting & Relationship Management
- Conduct timely follow-ups with potential customers and existing clients.
- Proactively seek new business opportunities and referrals.
- Maintain accurate records in the dealership's CRM system.
- Stay current on product knowledge, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in training, sales meetings, and dealership promotional activities.
- Support showroom and lot presentation, including vehicle displays and seasonal upkeep.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in vehicle acquisitions, pre-owned automotive sales, or related field preferred.
- Strong negotiation, evaluation, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of vehicle valuation tools, online auction platforms, and dealership systems.
- Valid Ontario G driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Self-motivated, customer-focused, and goal-driven.
