Job description

As a key member of the Lexus of Calgary team and reporting to the Service Manager, the Cashier/Customer Service Representative will work with the service department, representing a world-class leader in the automotive industry.

Lexus of Calgary is seeking our next great team member to join our team as a full-time Cashier/Customer Service Representative at our location in Calgary.

Summary:

The Cashier/Customer Service Representative plays a key role in the daily operations of the service department by providing professional, courteous, and efficient customer service. This position is responsible for processing customer payments, managing invoices, assisting with appointment scheduling, and ensuring a positive experience for all service customers.

Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Greet and assist customers in person, by phone, and via email in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Process service invoices and payments accurately (cash, credit, debit, etc.).
  • Reconcile daily cash and credit transactions and prepare deposit reports.
  • Answer customer inquiries regarding repair orders, services performed, and billing details.
  • Coordinate with service advisors and technicians to ensure timely updates to customers.
  • Schedule and confirm service appointments as needed.
  • Maintain an organized cashier station and ensure all records are kept accurate and up to date.
  • Handle customer concerns or direct them to the appropriate manager when necessary.
  • Provide administrative support to the service department as required.


Working Conditions:
 

  • Full-time position (days, evenings, or Saturdays as required).
  • Hours: 9:00am to 6:00pm
  • Primarily an office/customer-facing environment within the dealership's service department.


Requirements
 

  • 1 to 2 years Previous experience in a cashier, customer service, or administrative role (automotive industry experience an asset).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first approach.
    Proficient with computers, POS systems, and basic office software (Microsoft Office, DMS systems an asset).
  • Ability to manage cash accurately and responsibly.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail.
