Technician - 1st, 2nd or 3rd class

HGrégoire Toyota Candiac is looking for a 1st, 2nd or 3rd class Technician!

Responsibilities:

- Carry out the work described on the repair order efficiently and accurately, in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards;
- Determine the cause of any defect and carry out the repair;
- Determine vehicle defects based on customer complaints and own inspection;
- Contact parts department to obtain necessary parts;
- Examine assigned vehicle to determine if additional safety and maintenance work is required;
- Notify the technical advisor and/or foreman as soon as possible if additional work is required, if the work described is not necessary, or if repairs cannot be made;
- Install any optional equipment requested by the customer or dealer;
- Report any equipment defects or malfunctions to immediate supervisor;
- Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order;
- Test drive vehicle, if necessary;
- Participate in training programs required to keep skills up to date, as well as in manufacturer-sponsored events;
- Keep abreast of manufacturer's technical bulletins;
- Perform other duties as required and directed by management.

Requirements:

- General training in automotive mechanics;
- Experience in 1st, 2nd or 3rd class;
- Diagnostic skills;
- Speed of execution;
- Concern for a job well done;
- Sharp sense of observation;
- Good physical condition.
