Job description

Our team is expanding and looking to hire a Production Coordinator. We are looking for a dynamic and driven candidate interested in joining a fast-growing global company in the automotive sector. 

The Production Coordinator position is responsible for staff management. Other responsibilities include:

Responsible for the staff management:
 

  • Calculate monthly production performance; Plan equipment production capacity for the whole team; Responsible for planning and implementing the training for the team; Manage the team member adjustments
  • Get involved in new product development and the writing of SOPs
  • Present the questions that arise from new product development.
  • Training about quality requirements, operational standards
  • Enhancing the quality and production capacity
  • Writing and editing SOP and training team members on the operational standard.


Production Scheduling Management:
 

  • Schedule and manage the production according to the production plan
  • Guide team members to accomplish production that meets the requirements of SOP, check the production result and ensure the production plan is being met
  • Check the production process frequently
  • Analyze if the production doesn't meet the requirement
  • Discuss and check the weekly production plan with the production operation department


Quality Management:
 

  • Responsible for guiding and supervising operators' work according to the requirements of SOP, and solving quality abnormalities arising from operators


Manage the operation and deal with the abnormalities
 

  • Set up the standard of operation and guide the operators with the standards, and evaluate their operation
  • Coordinate and exclude abnormalities during the operation


Improvement
 

  • Lead and encourage operators to discover issues, present the proposal and implement the improvement.
  • Upgrade production equipment so that production can be release
  • Improve the standard working hours by increasing production output


To be a qualified candidate, you must meet the following:
 

  • College diploma or higher, with over 5 years of experience in production line management in the automotive industry; the size of the managed team should exceed 100 members.
  • Familiarity with the practical operation and maintenance of extrusion or CMC/welding, or stamping.
