Job description

Brossard Hyundai, a well-established car dealership on the South Shore of Montreal, is looking for a passionate, results-driven General Service Manager to lead our service department.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, excellent team management skills and an obsession with customer satisfaction. He/she will be responsible for optimizing operations, supervising and developing the existing team, and ensuring that our quality and safety standards are met.

Main responsibilities :

- Supervise, support and continue the development of the Service Manager (appointment scheduling, technical advisors).
- Oversee and continue the development of the shop controller to increase productivity, health and safety compliance, and improve technician engagement.
- Ensure the profitability and operational efficiency of the service department.
- Develop and implement strategies to meet and exceed financial targets.
- Implement initiatives to increase customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and analyze performance indicators (productivity, efficiency, CSI, etc.). Propose and implement improvement plans.
- Train, coach and motivate teams to create a positive, excellence-oriented work environment.
- Maintain manufacturing quality standards and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Work closely with the General Manager and other dealership departments to ensure a consistent, high-level customer experience as well as for the development and growth of the after-sales service department.

Profile:

- Demonstrated management experience in the automotive sector, ideally in after-sales service.
- Ability to analyze financial and operational data to make strategic decisions.
- Mobilizing leadership, focused on performance and collaboration.
- Strong customer orientation and ability to resolve conflicts diplomatically.
- Knowledge of workshop management best practices and health and safety rules.
- Excellent communication and change management skills.
