Job summary:

The companion mechanic – electric vehicles specializes in the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of electric and high-voltage systems in electric cars. They ensure compliance with the manufacturer's safety and quality standards while providing professional service to customers.

Main responsibilities:

- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electric vehicles (high-voltage battery, electric motor, charging system, etc.);
- Perform accurate diagnostics using specialized EV tools and software;
- Comply with all safety procedures related to high-voltage systems;
- Update and program electronic systems;
- Complete work orders and document repairs performed;
- Stay up to date on new electrical technologies and complete required training;
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment;
- Perform all other related tasks.

Required qualifications:

- Experience in diagnosing and repairing electric vehicles (a major asset);
- In-depth knowledge of battery and charging systems;
- Attention to detail, autonomy, and thoroughness;
- Valid driver's license.
