Mechanic / Apprentice Mechanic / Service Attendant

Job description:

Automotive mechanic technician/apprentice mechanic wanted for a full-time position (38 hours per week) - permanent position available now!
Service attendant wanted for a full-time position (38 hours per week) - permanent position available now!

We offer a salary of $22 to $38 per hour depending on experience and knowledge, with an AIR-CONDITIONED workshop!

Garage Labrosse Inc. has been in business since 1941. We offer maintenance, repair, and advanced diagnostic services. We are a certified electrical workshop. We take pride in our work and meet all manufacturers' requirements.

Tasks to be performed - Journeyman or Apprentice:

- Maintain vehicles: inspection, tires, fluid changes, brakes, and more;
- Diagnose/replace/repair parts for: steering, suspension, exhaust (welding), brakes, engine, transmission, and more;
- Diagnose fault codes and other electrical and electronic problems;
- Repair electric and hybrid vehicles;
- Research technical information;
- Diagnose/replace/repair air conditioning system components.

Tasks to be performed - Service Attendant:

- Install and balance tires;
- Manage storage;
- Assist journeypersons or apprentices.

Required qualifications:

- Have an apprentice or journeyman's license in automotive mechanics;
- Own a toolbox and tools or be willing to invest in them;
- Have a valid driver's license (mandatory);
- Have a halocarbon card (an asset);
- Understand English (an asset);
- Knowledge of Shopkeypro (Mitchell ProFemand) and Alldata software (an asset).

- Work uniform.

Regular schedule: Monday to Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Summer schedule: Monday to Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
