- Salary: $41.78/hr
- Schedule: Day shift (6AM-3:30PM Mondays to Thursdays; 6AM-2:30PM on Fridays)

Develop your talents by applying your expertise within our facility in Etobicoke, as the Truck Mechanic :
- Ensure that all aspects of service and repair meet the required standards as set out by the Cascades Recovery + Preventive Maintenance Program
- Ensure that all service and maintenance practices meet the regulatory requirements for the MTO, MOL, and the MOE. Work with Lead hands to coordinate and control the daily scheduling of service and repair of all road and plant equipment.
- Complete all required Preventative Maintenance and Repair documents to include inventory part numbers and make sure that they are provided daily to the Lead hand
- Provide all necessary tools in order to complete repairs on all Cascades Recovery road fleet and plant equipment.
- To assist in provide control over parts inventory ensuring that inventory levels are kept within the predetermined minimum/maximum.
- When required ensure that all service and material purchases are in compliance with the Cascades Recovery+ Purchase order procedures.
- Ensure that all inventories (stock) are properly recorded on work documents to provided effective inventory control.
- Receive stock inventory from suppliers and insure properly allocated by BIN locations as outlined by Lead hand.
- Ensure that the garage is kept in a clean and organized condition with focus on safety
- Ensure that all safety equipment related to road vehicles, plant vehicles, and garage equipment are kept in good working condition.

- Valid G class Ontario Driver's License
- Minimum 2 years' experience in the transportation industry
- Minimum 2 years' experience truck / trailer maintenance
- 310T Truck and Coach certificate
- Document of valid certification in good standing
- Computer literacy required
