Job description
Location: Mazda Val-David.
Your role:
As a buyer, you play a key role in acquiring vehicles for the dealership. You will be responsible for responding to requests from customers wishing to sell their vehicles via web inquiries, planning and conducting evaluations, and then following up rigorously to close the sale.
Your goal: to get the vehicle!
Your responsibilities:
• Respond quickly to web leads and customer calls;
• Schedule appointments for vehicle evaluations (in person or remotely);
• Collect all necessary information during remote evaluations;
• Follow up 24 hours after each evaluation;
• Enter vehicle data into VAuto;
• Analyze the market and determine a fair and competitive price;
• Clearly present and explain the price to the customer;
• Prepare the purchase file (customer or wholesaler);
• Follow up with all customers who missed or showed up for an appointment within 24 hours.
What you bring to the table:
• Good knowledge of car makes and models;
• Excellent organizational skills;
• Good negotiation and persuasion skills;
• Impeccable customer service skills and professional presentation;
• Fluency in spoken English (essential);
• Comfortable with computer tools (VAuto, CRM, etc.).
Work schedule (rotating over 2 weeks) - Monday, Thursday, and Friday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. + Tuesday and Wednesday: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. - Saturday: by appointment only.
