Technician / Mechanic

HGrégoire is looking for a Class 1, 2, or 3 Technician / Mechanic for its Hyundai Vaudreuil branch. Join a well-established company and enjoy a competitive salary!

* Full-time, permanent position.

Responsibilities:

- Perform the work described on the repair order efficiently and accurately, in accordance with dealer and manufacturer standards;
- Determine the cause of any defects and make repairs;
- Determine vehicle defects based on customer complaints and your own inspection;
- Contact the parts department to obtain the necessary parts;
- Inspect the assigned vehicle to determine if additional safety and maintenance work is required;
- Notify the technical advisor and/or foreman as soon as possible if additional work is required, if the work described is not necessary, or if repairs cannot be made;
- Install optional equipment requested by the customer or dealer;
- Report any defects or malfunctions in the equipment to your immediate supervisor;
- Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order;
- Test drive the vehicle, if necessary;
- Participate in training programs required to maintain skills up to date, as well as events sponsored by the manufacturer;
- Keep up to date with the manufacturer's technical bulletins;
- Perform other tasks as required and as directed by management.

Requirements:

- Training in diagnostics and assembly (engines, transmission, suspension, etc.);
- Diagnostic skills;
- Speed of execution;
- Attention to detail;
- Keen sense of observation;
- Good physical condition.
