Job description:

As an automotive mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of various types of vehicles (cars, SUVs, vans, etc.). You will work in a collaborative environment and play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include:

- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems in vehicles.
- Performing preventive maintenance (oil changes, replacement of brakes, tires, suspensions, etc.).
- Conducting thorough inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Using diagnostic tools to identify complex faults.
- Collaborating with the team to maintain an efficient workflow.
- Documenting repairs performed and advising customers on vehicle maintenance.

Required profile:

We are looking for a passionate, rigorous, and detail-oriented candidate. The following qualifications are required:

- Experience: minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience as an automotive mechanic.
- In-depth knowledge of the mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems of modern vehicles.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools (OBD scanners, specialized software, etc.).
- Ability to work on a variety of vehicle makes and models.
- Team spirit and excellent communication skills.
- Able to change: engine, transmission, timing belt.
- Good general knowledge of electrical problems to make an accurate diagnosis.

Assets:

- Experience with hybrid or electric vehicles.
- Valid driver's licence.
