Main responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical work as specified on repair orders, efficiently and accurately, in accordance with the high standards of the manufacturer and dealership.
- Carry out mechanical repairs, particularly on transmission systems.
- Collaborate closely with team members to ensure optimal customer satisfaction.
- Proactively communicate with service advisors when additional work is required or if repairs cannot be completed within the expected timeframe.
- Conduct road tests to validate the quality and safety of completed work.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions, either online or in person, as needed.
Training
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a transmission specialist mechanic.
- Experience in vehicle diagnostics (an asset).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong team spirit and exemplary professionalism.
- Valid competency card issued by the Comité paritaire de l’industrie de l’automobile (CPA).
