Auto Detail Manager required at our LEGACY DODGE FORT McMURRAY Dealership!
Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for automotive appearance and customer satisfaction? We're looking for an Automotive Detail Manager to lead our detailing department and ensure every vehicle leaving our lot looks its absolute best.
About the Role:
As our Detail Manager, you will oversee a team of detailers and ensure all new, used, and customer vehicles are cleaned, polished, and prepped to dealership and manufacturer standards. You'll manage workflow, maintain quality control, and take pride in delivering top-tier results that exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and supervise the detailing team
- Organize and prioritize daily workflow for vehicle detailing
- Ensure all vehicles meet high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality assurance
- Order and manage inventory of detailing supplies
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment
- Collaborate with service, sales, and delivery teams to coordinate vehicle prep schedules
- Perform hands-on detailing as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in automotive detailing (3+ years preferred)
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience an asset
- Strong eye for detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to manage time and team efficiently
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities
