Financial Controller

Motion Group, which includes several rapidly growing automotive dealerships, is currently seeking a Controller to join its executive team.

This key role will allow you to take an active part in the sound financial management of our operations and the implementation of rigorous and effective practices.

Main Responsibilities:
    • Financial Management: Oversee activities related to general accounting, budget management, and financial forecasting
    • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present periodic financial reports to internal and external stakeholders
    • Legal Compliance: Ensure compliance with current tax and financial regulations within the automotive sector
    • Cost Analysis: Conduct in-depth cost analyses related to dealership operations and propose improvements
    • Departmental Coordination: Collaborate with various departments to optimize financial processes and ensure operational efficiency

Desired Profile:
    • University degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
    • CPA designation (a strong asset)
    • Excellent command of Excel and accounting software (Serti, CDK, Reynolds, or other – an asset)
    • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and thoroughness
    • Ability to manage multiple files in a fast-paced environment
    • Leadership, autonomy, and strong interpersonal skills
