Your Role as a Sales Consultant
Under the supervision of the Sales Manager or Assistant Sales Manager, you will play a key role in the customer experience by guiding clients through every step of the buying process.
Your mission? Understand their needs, recommend the most suitable vehicles, and close successful transactions.
Main Responsibilities
• Provide a warm welcome and build trust with every customer
• Identify customer needs and guide them toward vehicles that match their expectations
• Present detailed information about vehicle features, benefits, and available options
• Organize test drives in accordance with safety and verification protocols
• Clearly explain long-term financing and leasing options
• Handle all required documentation to finalize sales or leases
• Negotiate pricing in collaboration with the Assistant Sales Manager
• Ensure proper follow-up of transactions with the F&I department
• Stay up to date on new models and market technologies
• Comply with current automotive sales regulations
• Conduct post-sale follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
• Perform any other related tasks as needed
Training
Required Skills and Qualities:
• Excellent communication skills and strong team spirit
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to create a positive buying experience
• Organizational skills, autonomy, and initiative
• Adaptability and effective priority management
• Professionalism and impeccable appearance in line with company standards
Position Requirements:
• Bilingualism required (French and English)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in automotive sales
• Valid driver’s license
