Mechanic / 3rd year Apprentice

About us:

We are a well-established tire and repair shop with over 30 years servicing the area. We are looking to grow our young and motivated team.

Seeking:

Mechanic with experience and/or 3rd year Apprentice with experience, who is eager to learn and grow within the company.

Responsibilities:

You will be expected to do tasks that range from basic oil changes and inspections to diagnosing and repairing major issues.

Tasks may include:

    • Brake service;
    • Suspension work;
    • Engine performance & tune up;
    • Solving electrical issues;
    • And anything else that may come through the garage doors and onto the lift.

Things to expect:

    • Must be willing to hustle during the peak season; tire season;
    • The cars we work on vary from standard to high end luxury and performance vehicles, professionalism and respect is expected on every job, no matter the size;
    • You may occasionally interact with clients in both French and English;
    • We pride ourselves on the cleanliness of our shop, candidates should be able to keep a clean and organized work area.

Schedule: standard 40 hours per week; from Monday to Friday with possibility of overtime and Saturdays during peak season.

Job type: full-time and permanent.
