Your area of expertise:
An Accounting Clerk handles daily deposits, receivables and payables, as well as supporting the sales team in certain administrative functions. The role requires attention to detail and a solid understanding of dealership operations.
What motivates you on a daily basis?
- Warehouse management;
- Reconciliation of financial obligations related to the purchase and sale of vehicles;
- Communication with external suppliers;
- Filing, electronic filing, scanning and document tracking;
- Support sales team for programs and financing;
- Assist the Controller with various requests (internal and external audits).
What's required?
- At least 1 year experience as an accounting clerk in a car dealership;
- Experience with CDK and Desk-it software (an asset);
- Knowledge of MS Office suite (Excel and Word);
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to interact with internal customers, key suppliers and employees;
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Strong organizational and time management skills, managing multiple priorities, completing a variety of tasks and meeting required deadlines;
- Fluency in English (an asset).
